Policy
The aim of ROTR's activity is to provide products which meet Clients' expectations. To this end, we continuously improve processes, provide resources (financial and personnel competence) in compliance with legal and other requirements which apply to us, and set ourselves specific goals as regards:
- ensuring food safety
- preventing diseases, accidents, potentially hazardous events, improving safety and health at work
- preventing environmental pollution
Name and logo
The abbreviation ROTR in the co-operative's name stands for the name of its founder, Rypińskie Okręgowe Towarzystwo Rolnicze (Regional Agricultural Society in Rypin).
The co-operative's first name at the time of its founding in 1926 was Spółdzielcza Mleczarnia Parowa ''ROTR'' w Rypinie (The Co-operative Steam Creamery "ROTR" in Rypin).
Currently the company's name is ROTR Spółdzielnia Mleczarska w Rypinie ("ROTR" Co-operative Creamery in Rypin).
The company's logo is a four-leaf clover (with three leaves and a drop of milk), which is the symbol of credibility, reliability, safety and satisfaction.
These values are reflected in our products which, owing to their high quality, are very popular among Consumers.
To us, quality means safe products which come up to customer expectations.
The Brand
We sell our products under the domestic brand Delik.
You can find our brand on the packages of our products. The name 'Delik' originates from the word 'delicate', which is what characterises the delicate and subtle taste of our products.

ROTR is a member of, among others, the following organizations:

- Krajowy Związek Spółdzielni Mleczarskich (KZSM) (National Union of Dairy Cooperatives)
- Krajowe Stowarzyszenie Mleczarzy (KSM) (National Confederation of Dairy Producers)
ROTR and its surroundings
ROTR sees itself as a socially responsible company which actively participates in charity activities supporting the local community. It supports, among others, the Caritas centre in Brodnica.
History
ROTR Diary Plant in Rypin boasts over 80 years of tradition. Before the Second World War, we were already a large and modern plant, which produced excellent cheese and butter.
Some of our products were even exported abroad.
After 1950, thanks to the assistance of UNICEF, the equipment to produce milk powder was provided, and for many years, it remained our main production division.
In 1992 we started producing milk and UHT cream.
In 2000, we were permitted to export milk powder and UHT "Delik" milk to the EU.
We have also implemented the quality policy system ISO 9002.
Over the next years, thanks to extensive modernisation, a room to produce cheese (2005) and equipment for dense whey production (2007) were introduced.
